Mustard Seed Ranch is a non-profit that provides traumatized youth with access to equine therapy. It was amazing getting to spend the day at the ranch and document the impact these animals have on the kids and vice versa.

My third home video during lockdown, my bosses sent me the newest iPhone and told me to “do something creative.” This direction felt a little daunting with everything going on, but I ended up throwing a knife to myself and dressing up like a burglar in my bathroom, so everything worked out just fine.

An episode for CNET’s annual “Road Trip” series, my colleague Ben Fox Rubin traveled to Delhi to report on the smart toilets saving lives in India. This was the first project I produced after the lockdown and we ended up having to uproot our whole approach for it to work with the new lens of a global pandemic. The piece ended up winning a silver Telly award for social impact, non-broadcast.

My wife’s grandparents moved to Sag Harbor in 1986. When Angie was six and visiting them, she was playing on this same rocky beach and got poison ivy from Jimmy Buffett's dog, Biff. I assume Biff is chasing waves up in doggy heaven by now, but ol' Jimmy, Ang, and the beach are still here, takin' it easy.
